I bought these pliers and a set of plastic snaps a few years ago from ebay, and the pliers are still going strong. I have bought many more snaps having gone through most of the original ones.
They are often 'talked about' by a brand name of KAM, mine are not! They are super easy to put in and if you are not sure just have a search through YouTube of Kam snaps.
